The Bougie Brat and Amiere Records Launch “The Complex,” a Multi-Acre Creative Hub and Event Venue in Jamaica
Backed by Artizen's Fundraising Platform, The Complex Becomes the First Web3-Supported Cultural Campus in the Caribbean
Dancehall producer, creative director, and entrepreneur Kimberly Amiere Rhoden, also known as The Bougie Brat, has officially announced the launch of fundraising efforts for “The Complex” a new multi-acre creative campus and entertainment hub currently under development through her independent, Black woman-owned label Amiere Records.
Located on over 20 acres in Jamaica, The Complex is designed to support the next generation of Caribbean creatives through a purpose-built space for music recording, filming, coworking, wellness, and live entertainment. The space will also serve as a future event venue, offering both indoor and outdoor areas for film premieres, brand activations, community markets, live tapings, music showcases, and more.
“The vision for The Complex is what Tyler Perry Studios might look like if it were built in the Caribbean. But with a blend of film, music, wellness, coworking, and entertainment, all in one creative sanctuary,” says Rhoden. “We deserve world-class infrastructure here at home not just hype, but sustainability. The Complex is being built to meet that need.”
Now Fundraising: Seed Capital, Creative Partners, and Co-Founder Opportunities
The Complex has been selected by the Artizen Fund, a blockchain-powered platform that curates and supports innovative cultural projects globally. As one of the only Jamaica-based initiatives accepted into both Season 5 and Season 6, The Complex is now live on the platform with over a dozen unique digital artifact tiers available to contributors and future collaborators.
Options range from entry-level perks like video premieres and documentary access to high-impact opportunities such as:
Executive Producer + Cameo credits
Custom “vibe curator” beat/riddim production
Your name etched into the Legacy Wall
$100,000 Co-Founder Tier for angel investors and early partners helping shape the future of the project
The Complex is currently in its seed fundraising stage, and Amiere Records is actively seeking strategic partners, impact investors, and brand collaborators aligned with building sustainable creative spaces in the Caribbean.
