The Complex is a multi acre creative campus under development in Kingston, Jamaica. It’s the island’s first multi-purpose creative hub and professional film soundstage, designed to merge music, film, wellness, entrepreneurship, and culture.

💡 Why We’re Building It

For too long, Caribbean creatives have had to leave home to access world-class production resources, industry networks, or creative support systems.

The Complex exists to change that creating ownership, access, and legacy for Jamaica and the Caribbean.

The project is currently under development on multiple acres of land in Jamaica, The Complex will feel like a creative oasis, rooted deeply in the brilliance of Caribbean culture. With rolling outdoor spaces and palm-lined backdrops, it will be both a cultural landmark and an international production hub.

OUR FOUNDER: KIMBERLY RHODEN aka THE BOUGIE BRAT

The Complex is the brainchild of Kimberly Rhoden, known professionally as "The Bougie Brat." A music producer, artist manager, and former tech marketing specialist born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica.

With deep experience across Music Production, Film & TV, Artist Development, and Web3 communications, she’s now merging her global background with her love for Jamaica to build something transformative for Caribbean creatives.

“I’ve lived in New York, Florida, Bali, and Phuket but I’m my happiest, most creative self at home in Jamaica. The Complex is about giving other creatives the same freedom and opportunity, without having to leave the island."

Director of Strategy & Operations: Lakeem Allen

Lakeem brings a strong background in organizational planning and project execution to The Complex team. As Director of Strategy & Operations, he focuses on streamlining internal processes, coordinating resources, and supporting the execution of key initiatives that move the project forward. His role centers on ensuring that The Complex maintains a clear structure and operational foundation as it scales from vision to reality.

Business & FINANCIAL Advisor : Othmaro “Omar” Service

Omar is an experienced financial strategist with a background in accounting and business development. He holds a Master’s in Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Omar has experience managing large funds for companies and institutions and has served as a financial accountant for various companies and institutions such as the University of Houston. He provides strategic guidance on business planning, financial modeling, and investor documentation to help shape the company’s growth and investment readiness.
