Meet The Bougie Brat

Hey there 👋🏾

My name is Kimberly Amiere Rhoden most people in the music world and on social media now know me as The Bougie Brat. I am a Jamaican-born and raised music producer, artist manager, content creator and creative entrepreneur on a mission to help Caribbean creatives build, thrive, and stay rooted.

Let me take you back a little…

🌍 Where I’m From: Jungle-Made, Globally Raised

I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, in a place called "Jungle" right in the heart of Arnette Gardens, aka “Havana”. That garrison shaped my resilience, my hustle, and the foundation of who I am.

After leaving Jamaica, I moved to the U.S., went to college in New York, and spent years living across the States and parts of Asia. I’ve called Bali, Indonesia, and Phuket, Thailand home, and I carry those global influences in everything I create.

Before going full-time into music, I worked as a marketing and communications specialist for several Web3 and tech companies. I’ve also done modeling and acting work over the years most recently appearing prominently in JPEGMAFIA’s viral “On The Radar” freestyle performance video, standing to the right of the artist.

🎶 My Work: Music, Culture, and Legacy

Now, I wear many hats.
🎧 I produce dancehall and cross-genre music.
🎬 I direct & manage creative rollouts and video treatments as well as marketing direction and roll out.
🤝 I manage artists under my independent label, Amiere Records
 + Many More

Our catalog includes artists like King Kasa, QueeBan, and Statixx, with songs like “Likkle Miss Chin,” “Story Time,” "Relevant,""Penthouse,""Blast Off, “Live Rounds,” and "Cartier" earning buzz, streams, and international views. I also recently co-produced on “Future Life” with Geo Lyrical & Jevii (released by Topalone Records) a motivational song that pushes a much-needed message into today’s dancehall soundscape. Featuring lyrics like"Every youth is a super star"& "There's no stopping it..determined so we haffi rich."

🏗️ What I’m Building: The Complex

Right now, my biggest project is something personal and deeply needed.
It’s called "The Complex"a multi-acre creative hub in Jamaica where music, film, work, wellness, and culture collide.

Imagine:
🎙️ Recording studios
🎬 Film sound stages and outdoor video lots
🏢 Coworking and content spaces
🍹 Restaurants, cafés, and chill courtyards
🧘🏾‍♀️ A future wellness pavilion
🎥 Areas for outdoor movie nights, events, sleep and healing

Think Tyler Perry Studios, but with Caribbean flavor, palm trees, and dancehall echoing through the walls.

My goal is simple:
To give local and international creatives a space to record music, film content, collaborate, and unwind all in one place. I want this to be the hub people fly to, not from. Because I know what it’s like to feel like you have to leave your home to make your dreams happen. It's not sustainable for a lot of people, not the dream end goal for many. So thats why I’m trying to change that and bring more access and opportunities to us right here at home.

🧠 What I Stand For: Ownership, Access & Legacy

Jamaica will always be my home.

No matter where I travel, no place makes me feel more me than when I’m back on the island. I’m my best creative self here. That’s why this project, this work, and this moment matter so much.
The Complex isn’t just a business it’s a statement. A commitment to Caribbean creatives who deserve the world and shouldn’t have to leave home to access it.

I’m building this with intention. With community. With support from platforms like Artizen Fund and cultural backers around the globe.
